Higher Education
We hold multiple on-call “House Doctor” contracts for institutions of higher educations throughout Massachusetts, providing primarily interior renovation design to repurpose existing space for new use with a specialization in laboratory and research space design, as well as teaching space and student housing renovation. We are well-experienced with DCAMM’s Certified Study format, for major projects and for deferred maintenance projects. Currently, we have active projects underway with:
Municipal
We routinely provide design services to Towns and Cities throughout Massachusetts through the preparation of renovation, addition and new construction projects for public bidding through M.G.L c. 149. Typical project scopes include exterior envelope repairs, handicapped accessibility renovations, historical restoration, interior space reconfiguration and general renovations. Public Housing
Although we do not pursue private residential architecture projects, we have been an on-call design firm with the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) for over 30 years, modernizing State and Federally aided elderly and family housing developments for local Housing Authorities throughout the Commonwealth. Typical project scopes include reconfiguration of units to provide accessible housing, envelope work to improve energy efficiency and deferred maintenance and repair projects to vacant units.
